Embrace the healing the land offers as you immerse yourself in the More-Than-Human world. Reconnect with your untamed roots through invitations, sharing circles, and a tea gathering led by an Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT)-certified guide.

Forest therapy is a slow, sensory practice — a gentle way to lower stress, restore attention, and rebuild your relationship with the living world around you. No experience or fitness level required; every walk is welcoming.

Meet the Owner

Led by Madison Lindsay

Play Wild is owned and operated by Madison Lindsay — Miss Madison to her campers. Madison is an outdoor recreation and education specialist passionate about helping people experience the outdoors in a way that feels welcoming, safe, educational, and fun. She has over a decade of experience in inclusive outdoor recreation and education, including 8 years as a National Association for Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide and over 7 years as a park programmer at the NRPA Gold Award-winning park system, Metroparks Toledo.

She is a certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist, and a well-rounded programmer with broad expertise in natural history, cultural history, and adventure programming. Along with many other certifications, trainings, and real-world experience, she brings camp-level enthusiasm, empathy, and a passion for parks — making outdoor education second nature. She wants to share that love and enthusiasm with her community and the region.

Madison works with individuals, families, schools, and community organizations to create inclusive and accessible nature programs that encourage movement, exploration, confidence, and connection.
